ACT TWO

SCENE 1

The next morning. The cabin. As the scene opens, MARY is sitting in the porch. She is wearing Aunt Rose’s sweater and drinking a cup of coffee. The bedroom door opens. OWEN enters looking horribly hungover. He closes the door softly behind him and makes his way up to the bathroom. He enters the bathroom and closes the door. He’s only in there for about ten or fifteen seconds, but when he enters the living area again he smacks his lips as though his mouth feels a whole lot fresher. He moves left and notices MARY, who is now standing, watching him through the screen door.
